Marisela B. great teachers helped her become a teacher Wow! I am so proud of The EOPS director Will Bruce. He was a very good friend and role model for every one of us. I was a peer advisor at the time he was working with the EOPS group. Congratulations Will Bruce! I wanted to be a teacher and Allan Hancock College help me obtain my dream. I transferred to Antioch University and I will receive my Bachelors in Family Society and Community with a Minor in Early ChildHood Studies. Now, I am working for the Community Action Commission of Santa Barbara Ca, as a teacher. This is the most rewarding job experience for me to date. During my time at Allan Hancock I received the best advising, learned from great teachers and best of all my I met my husband, Eric Blanco, also an Allan Hancock alumni who transferred to Cal-Poly, San Luis Obispo. After Cal Poly, he received a Masters in School Counseling from LaVerne University . Thanks to our start at Allan Hancock College.
